This hotel is a hidden gem found in the Karlin Prague district. The location is great. You're some 4 tram stations from the center or 15-20 minutes of walking distance. The hotel is in a quiet street which allows you to sleep at night as the windows have sound isolation. The tram station is at the corner of the street. If you fancy opening the windows you can. The A/C was a great addition to the hot summer days we experienced during our stay in Prague. The breakfast was good to have when you're planning to stay out for the whole day and not having to worry about energy. There are also plenty of nearby restaurants and bistros and bars where you can try various cuisines. The hotel also have a restaurant, we noticed locals using it too. Lastly, the staff where great and very friendly and polite with guests, always smiling and always ready to help and give you tips about things to do and places to visit in Prague. They allow you to pay with EUR or CZK, cash or card, depending on what you want, we'd recommend paying with local currency Czech korunas, so your bank takes care of the currency charges; or look for the difference and decide yourself on what's best. We had issues with some other hotel, noisy neighbours, so we changed to this hotel and it was a huge difference. And we never looked back, amazing experience!

Modern, clean and spacious rooms. Approx 20 minute pleasant walk from city centre, road was quiet and felt safe so no problems walking, tram stop was less than a 5 minute walk away also. Staff were kind and welcoming, even gave us a complimentary room upgrade as we were celebrating my birthday! Breakfast was tasty, not a huge or varied selection but everything you might want from a continental breakfast at a small boutique hotel. Very happy with our stay here and would definitely come back to the hotel Fitzgerald next time we are in Prague.

The location was great - very close to tram and metro stations without being too noisy. It was also just a 20-minute walk away from the old town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were greeted immediately upon arrival and taken to reception where the check-in went smoothly. We even got a free welcome drink! The room was clean and the beds were super comfortable. We got our beds made and new towels every day because we left the sign, asking the cleaning staff to do so. Breakfast was filling and varied.
